A j\u00e1t\u00e9kokban, a versenyekben az fog gy\u0151zni, aki a feladatot min\u00e9l hamarabb \u00e9s min\u00e9l nagyobb er\u0151vel hajtja v\u00e9gre. Igaz ez a r\u00f6vid t\u00e1v\u00fa fut\u00e1sok \u00e9s az ugr\u00e1sok v\u00e9grehajt\u00e1s\u00e1ra, de igaz a sportj\u00e1t\u00e9kok v\u00e9gz\u00e9sekor a kit\u00e1maszt\u00e1sokra, ir\u00e1nyv\u00e1ltoztat\u00e1sokra, felugr\u00e1sokra, cselez\u00e9sekre is. Ezekben a mozg\u00e1sform\u00e1kban a l\u00e1bak gyorsereje a meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3, teh\u00e1t ennek a k\u00e9pess\u00e9gnek a fejleszt\u00e9se kiemelked\u0151en fontos feladata a testnevel\u0151 tan\u00e1rnak, edz\u0151nek egyar\u00e1nt. Term\u00e9szetesen ez a k\u00e9pess\u00e9g fejl\u0151dik maga a sportj\u00e1t\u00e9kok, versenyek, a legt\u00f6bb mozg\u00e1s sor\u00e1n is, de a c\u00e9l m\u00e9gis az, hogy \u00f6nmag\u00e1hoz k\u00e9pest mindenki legt\u00f6bbet fejl\u0151dj\u00f6n. A feladat teh\u00e1t az, hogy ezt a k\u00e9pess\u00e9get a megfelel\u0151 m\u00f3dszerekkel, eszk\u00f6z\u00f6kkel min\u00e9l hat\u00e9konyabban n\u00f6velj\u00fck. A l\u00e1b gyorserej\u00e9nek fejleszt\u00e9s\u00e9re sokf\u00e9le m\u00f3dszer alkalmas, de a mai gyermekekn\u00e9l nem biztos, hogy tudjuk ezeket alkalmazni a fizikai \u00e9s technikai hi\u00e1nyoss\u00e1gai miatt. Gondolok itt pl. az ugr\u00f3k\u00f6t\u00e9l gyakorlatokra, ha nem tud a gyermek folyamatosan k\u00f6t\u00e9lhajt\u00e1ssal sz\u00f6kdelni, akkor a feladat nem hat\u00e9kony. Olyan m\u00f3dszert kell v\u00e1lasztani, amellyel a gyorser\u0151 a legjobban fejleszthet\u0151, \u00e9s mindenkin\u00e9l egyar\u00e1nt alkalmazhat\u00f3. Erre az egyik leghat\u00e9konyabb m\u00f3dszer a sorozatsz\u00f6kdel\u00e9s, m\u00e9lybeugr\u00e1s, azonban ezeknek a rendszeres alkalmaz\u00e1sa fokozottan ig\u00e9nybe veszi a szervezetet (t\u00e9rdet, egy\u00e9b \u00edz\u00fcleteket), ami az id\u0151sebb, volt sportol\u00f3kn\u00e1l rengeteg panaszt okozott m\u00e1r. A m\u00e9lybeugr\u00e1sokat nem is aj\u00e1nlatos a teljes csontosod\u00e1s el\u0151tt v\u00e9gezni. Az \u00e9lsporttal foglalkoz\u00f3 szakemberek v\u00e9lem\u00e9nye gyakran az, hogy az \u00e9lsport nem mindig eg\u00e9szs\u00e9ges, vagyis a felk\u00e9sz\u00fcl\u00e9s sor\u00e1n olyan gyakorlatokat is v\u00e9geznek a sportol\u00f3k, a min\u00e9l nagyobb teljes\u00edtm\u00e9ny el\u00e9r\u00e9se \u00e9rdek\u00e9ben, amelyek az eg\u00e9szs\u00e9g rov\u00e1s\u00e1ra mennek, \u00e9s az \u00e9lsport abbahagy\u00e1sa ut\u00e1n k\u00fcl\u00f6nf\u00e9le panaszokat okozhatnak. A mai edz\u00e9sm\u00f3dszerekben, a sportol\u00f3 eg\u00e9szs\u00e9g\u00e9t szem el\u0151tt tart\u00f3 edz\u0151k v\u00e9lem\u00e9nye az, hogy a m\u00e9lybeugr\u00e1sokat a l\u00e1b gyorserej\u00e9nek fejleszt\u00e9sekor n\u00e9lk\u00fcl\u00f6zni nem lehet, de ut\u00e1na pihen\u0151 id\u0151t kell adni a szervezetnek a regener\u00e1l\u00f3d\u00e1sra, vagyis ki kell ut\u00e1na hagyni n\u00e9h\u00e1ny napot, ez\u00e9rt hetente egy vagy felk\u00e9sz\u00fcl\u00e9s alatt legfeljebb k\u00e9t alkalommal v\u00e9gezz\u00fck. A c\u00e9l teh\u00e1t az, hogy tal\u00e1ljunk a m\u00e9lybeugr\u00e1s mellet vagy helyette olyan m\u00f3dszereket mellyel a gyorser\u0151 a legjobban \u00e9s a legkisebb k\u00e1rosod\u00e1ssal fejleszthet\u0151.
